THE SUN IS LIGHTER ON THE HORIZON installation
2018; 16mm film; 2 min loop
A simple idea is posed to the viewer - to imagine the sun as an object placed in an impossible relationship with itself. This playful relationship offers a view of the changing quality of light as the sun rises and sets on the horizon endlessly. As an impossible view the image conjures up questions about laws of nature, and the limits of our earthly perspective.
